Yardage:
The Dunskey Course. 18 holes -5882 yards - SSS 69.
Links/Coastal cliff.
The Dinvin Course. 9 holes - 1504 yards - Par 27. Parkland/heath
Clubhouse: The clubhouse, recently further extended, offers a
well appointed Lounge, Bar and Dining Room. This together with the upgrading
of changing, drying, storage and showering facilities, ensures our many
visitors are well catered for. Younger visitors are not forgotten with
the provision of a Junior and TV room.
Playing Arrangements: Golfers can normally be accommodated
through the week, but at the weekends it is prudent to book ahead.
Recognised golfing societies and parties are welcome provided previous
arrangements have been made with the secretary. Golf carts and trolleys
are available for hire, and handicap certificates are required for
the Dunskey Course. The tee is reserved for members Monday to Friday
from 9.00 to 9.30am and from 12.30 to 1.30pm. Saturday and Sunday
from 8.30 to 10.00am and 11.30am to 1.30pm.
The Course: There are two courses in this complex - 18 hole
Dunskey Course and 9 hole par 3 Dinvin Course. Dunskey has been described
by Golf World as "The best holiday course in the South of Scotland"
Set on the cliffs above the picturesque village of Portpatrick, a
links type course with magnificent views of the Irish Coast, the Isle
of Man, and the Mull of Kintyre. The 9 hole Dinvin Course is adjacent
to the Dunskey Course for those without a handicap.
